Born on Scorpio's Rooftop
We needed technology that didn't exist. So we invented it.
No meter in India could give each apartment its fair share of rooftop solar while keeping the grid as a seamless fallback. So we designed the SPDU (Smart Power Distribution Unit) from first principles, tested it at home, patented it, and installed it for all 24 flats.
That invention became Protostar Technologies, our technology venture. Today it retrofits rooftop solar onto existing apartment buildings across Maharashtra in about 3 months, no reconstruction required.
